Mr Priya Shankar Dasgupta


Renasense's Mentor and Principal Investor, Mr Priya Shankar Dasgupta is well-recognised in the industry for having an exceptionally high success rate of creating successful business ventures between private business entities and Sovereign Governments. He has represented clients in the USA, the UK, Hong Kong, the UAE, Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Nepal and more. He serves as a Director on world-renowned MNCs across industries such as Healthcare – and has successfully advised several of them to invest more than USD 6 Billion in various countries. He has also regularly advised Global Financial Institutions including the World Bank and the IFC. And has promoted three large K12 Schools in the UAE and India.

Dr Saurabh Dasgupta MD

Chief Operating Officer

Dr. Saurabh Dasgupta is a budding Nephrologist/Internist from the USA. He received his dual MD in Internal Medicine & Pediatrics at the University of Oklahoma and completed his Nephrology Fellowship at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic – where he was awarded the Fellow of the Year. He brings with him international exposure to Renal Care & Dialysis. He has served on several committees during his years at the University of Oklahoma and is currently a member of American Society of Nephology. Dr Dasgupta's areas of interest include Renal Care in the Critical Care setting and Dialysis. He has experience of all modalities of Dialysis including Hemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis, Home Dialysis and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy in the intensive care units.
Dr. William Motendo

Dr. William Motende

Dr. Motende is a Master in neurosurgery from the University of Nairobi, Kenya and has to his credit IMS from Strathmore University, UK

He comes with a strong experience in the medical industry and business management. He brings with him world class exposure in renal care. He has renowned medical and project management certifications to his credit.

He has planned and led successfully various ERP implementation projects across Africa and was engaged as a strategic financial advisor for leading companies in the past.



Professor Sir John Cunningham

Sir John Cunningham is a Clinician-Scientist holding positions as the Professor of Nephrology at the University College London Medical School and The Royal Free Hospital and an Honorary Fellowship at Trinity Hall, University of Cambridge, both in the UK. He is a member of the consultant staff of The Royal Free Hospital, St Mary’s Hospital, The Royal Brompton Hospital and King Edward 7th Hospital for Officers, all in London. The bulk of his work reflects his expertise in general Nephrology, Renal and Metabolic Medicine, Hypertension, Renal Stone disease, acute and chronic Kidney disease, Renal Transplantation and Dialysis, metabolic bone disease (including Osteoporosis, Hyperparathyroidism, Vitamin D deficiency, Renal bone disease and the interfaces between CKD, the Mineral Bone Disorder, and cardiovascular disease.) From 2005 to 2014, he was the Physician to Her Majesty The Queen and Head of The Medical Household. For these services, he was knighted in 2014.

Dr Lukas Haragsim MD

Medical Director, Dr. Lukas Haragsim has been a faculty member with the Section of Nephrology in the Department of Medicine at The University of Oklahoma since 1998. Dr. Haragsim was promoted to Professor of Medicine in July 2010. Dr. Haragsim has been the Director of the Nephrology Fellowship Program since July 2008. He is a member of the American Society of Nephrology, the American Medical Association and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Haragsim serves on several University committees. He serves as a Medical Director in multiple Dialysis units within the Oklahoma area. He also served as the Scientific Advisor for multiple companies operating in the area of Renal Replacement Therapy including Amgen, Davita, PC Dialysis Inc. and Fresenius. He has also served as the Staff Nephrologist in US federal government facilities for the last 19 years, in both civilian and Department of Defense facilities.

Jón Kristinn Snæhólm

Jón Kristinn Snæhólm has a degree in History and Politics from the University of Iceland, and an M.Sc. in European International Politics from the Edinburgh University. His main interests included Avionics and at the age of just 14 he took his private pilot licence on gliders, still holding the altitude record in Iceland of 18,500 feet. Through his professional career, he was the Chairman of the board of the largest insurance brokerage in Iceland, holding offices in London and Riga, the Chairman of a stock brokerage and a major shareholder in Alliance insurance. Currently Mr Snæhólm is the CEO of a consultancy called Stekkjaroddi, which specializes in consultancy between major municipalities in Iceland, institutional investors, building contractors and high-end investors. He is a well known commentator on politics in Iceland, both in radio and television and has been quite active in both local and international politics, holding key positions as a former Founder and a Vice Chairman of European Young Conservatives, and the Senior Political Advisor to the mayor of Reykjavík.

Dr. Partha Banerjee

Dr Partha Banerjee has been associated with the Critical Care segment since 1996. He launched the Immunosuppressant drugs from Novartis and managed patient care modules for Aventis, Eli Lilly, Novartis and Pfizer. A global multi-faceted professional, he has managed business operations in more than 60 countries for global conglomerates such as Imperial Chemical, Johnson Matthey and CTI. He has successfully launched and managed various business units including multiple Renal Care Centres in India, the Gulf, mainland Europe and Africa. Dr Banerjee possesses nearly 3 decades of extensive experience in strategy planning & strategic positioning, launching formulations and inventing patient relationship management in the USA, the UK, mainland Europe, Africa, the Gulf, China and India.


Manish Verma

Manish Verma

A young healthcare professional and an MBA graduate in International business, he has extensive experience in strategic operations, business development & process optimization. He is a vital part of the ARC Dialysis unit in Kenya and has previously led the operations for our Seychelles unit.

Dr Kishore Kumar

Currently serving in Kenya he has over a decade of clinical experience in Nephrology. He’s a fellow of the American Society of Nephrology (FASN), ISN-ANIO NCN holder and has trained in Hydrogen Therapy from Earth Engineering Japan.
